Self Flagellation

So I wrote an email to my pops, feeling defeated after an especially stressful week of Biology, and he responds with this. Thought that someone (of the three people reading this at best) could benefit from his words of encouragement. Tough times make you who you are, right? At least that's what Hallmark claims.

You are going through a very difficult time. This class is known to be spirit buster, so as you said and realized you have no choice but going forth no matter how using you word is debilitating. Please remember you can only do your best. and as long as you did it then you should stop self flagellation. I, Mom, Nadiv and David are behind you. Remember you can always get up dust off and fight again. Do not beat yourself up only give it your best and tell yourself that is it, switch your frame of mind to a quay Serra Serra (excuse the spelling) and relax.
