I've never been one of those girls that fantasizes celebrities, musical artists, or men in power- but Sufjan.. Ohhhh Sufjan. The delicate sound of his voice. His heart-wrenchingly beautiful lyrics. The airy instruments-- even his voice is an instrument. I coudn't even begin to put his musical style into a category. Folk? Indie Rock? Electronica? Baroque Pop? He exists outside of genres- tapping that part of your brain there, and touching this spot on your heart here. He washes over you like a summer breathe; warm and soft, like a man who understands.
